Materials Required
DMC Cebelia Size 20 in Desired Color
Steel or Aluminum Crochet Hook size 9

Abbreviations/Special Stitches:
SS - Slip Stitch

SC - Single Crochet


PSC - Prong Single Crochet

Work single crochet as usual EXCEPT insert hook between the two legs, or "prongs," of the SC instead of under the top two loops as you would normally do. This creates a ridged pattern on the right side of the work.

TRC - Treble Crochet

TRC Cluster

Treble Crochet Cluster - Y/O twice, insert hook in stitch, Y/O, pull through 2 loops at a time twice, leaving last loop unworked; continue for assigned number of stitches. On last stitch, after completing stitch y/o and draw through

all loops remaining on the hook at one time.

 

Chain 9, join with slip stitch to form ring.

Round 1
Work 21 SC in ring. Join with SS to first sc.

Round 2
Work 2 SC in each SC around. Join with SS to first SC.

Round 3
Work 1 SC in each SC around. Join with SS to first SC.

Round 4
CH 6, Work a TRC Cluster over next 6 SC. CH 6, SC in same space as last TRC. *Ch 6, work a TRC Cluster over next 7 SC. Ch 6, SC in same space as last TRC. Repeat from * around, should have six star points.

Round 5
Ch 1, SC in same stitch as joining. *Ch 6, work (SC, ch 4, SC) in ch-4 loop at point. CH 6, PSC in SC between two sections. Repeat from * around, join with SS in first stitch.

Round 6
Ch 1, SC in same stitch as joining. *Ch 7, work (SC, ch 4, SC) in ch-4 loop at point. Ch 7, PSC in next PSC. Repeat from * around, join with SS in first stitch.

Round 7
Ch 1, SC in same stitch as joining. *Ch 8, work (SC, ch 4, SC) in ch-4 loop at point. Ch 8, PSC in next PSC. Repeat from * around, join with SS in first stitch.

Round 8
Ch 1, SC in same stitch as joining. *Ch 9, work (SC, ch 4, SC) in ch-4 loop at point. Ch 9, PSC in next PSC. Repeat from * around, join with SS in first stitch.

Round 9
Ch 1, SC in same stitch as joining. *Ch 10, work (SC, ch 4, SC) in ch-4 loop at point. Ch 10, PSC in next PSC. Repeat from * around, join with SS in first stitch.

Round 10
Ch 1, PSC in same stitch as joining. *Ch 3, work (SC, ch 3, SC, ch 4) in ch-10 space. Work (SC, ch 4, SC) in ch-4 loop at point. Ch 4, work (SC, ch 3, SC) in ch-10 space. Ch 3, PSC in next PSC. Repeat from * around, join with SS in first stitch.

OR to work additional rounds on doily: Begin each round with Ch 1, PSC in same stitch as joining. Continue to work in pattern, every time you get to ch-10 spaces, you do the following row with a ch 4, SC, CH 3 and SC in in ch-10 loop. Then increase one chain next to points each row until you get back up to 10 again.
