Scamper came in as an owner surrender. His family had too busy of a lifestyle to accommodate a busy little miniature schnauzer puppy of 15 months! Scamper had no idea of what being loose in a house was like, and he soon earned the nickname, "kid in a candy store!" He learned quickly how to leave things alone, learned the 'drop it' command right away, and learned how to sit on a lap and be petted! He quickly won all our hearts and we were almost sad to see him go! But my wonderful rescue volunteer Sheryl from eastern Iowa found THE perfect home for our little Scamp. His new name is Jackson and he is living it up with a wonderful family, being the "Only Dog." Oh is he gonna be spoiled!!! I love it! Happy new life, Scampie!
