Sheila's Schnauzies Rescues as of 6-23-05
Sarah and Bonnie are
sisters, 8 years young! They MUST be adopted as a pair - I refuse
to split them up.. They came from California where they lived
with their mom, who was placed in a nursing home here in Nebraska
near her son due to Alzheimer's disease, bless her heart. Her
son and daughter in law are wonderful people and deserve a lot
of credit for all they have done for their mom and the girls!
Sarah, the smaller
dog, is a wonderful quiet lap cuddler. She just wants to be held
and loved and loves to take naps on her pillow. Although Sarah
is mostly blind, she has already learned her way through the house
and up and down the back steps to outside!! She has epilepsy which
is controlled with a pill twice daily.
Bonnie has an adorable,
funny personality. She also likes to sit on your lap and be petted.
She, like Sarah, loves to be brushed and groomed!! She gets along
well with all my dogs and cats. She has a chronic problem with
allergies which is treated with medication and special shampoo.
